Job Description
The Role -

The All-In-One (Integrated Design & CAE) Engineer Intern contributes to faster and more accurate vehicle development by integrating design and CAE from the early stages of the development process. In addition to 3D CAD modeling, the role involves performing CAE analysis to verify various performance factors and reflecting the results in the design, providing an opportunity to grow into an engineer who enhances both vehicle quality and development efficiency.

What you'll Do -

• Learn and support the process of creating and reviewing 3D CAD models for vehicle components and subsystems
• Participate in reviewing design ideas that meet performance requirements and propose improvement solutions
• Support various CAE analysis and contribute by learning how the results are applied to design improvements
• Assist with detailed analysis and validation tasks, gaining experience in connecting design and analysis to strengthen technical capabilities
• Tools used: NX (CAD), NX Pre/Post & SimSolid (CAD analysis), HyperWorks (CAE)
• After joining, interns may be assigned to various engineering domains such as Body, Interior, Exterior, or Electrical, depending on project needs and organizational requirements.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) -
Majors Required:
STEM-related majors such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical & Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.

Eligibility:

• Graduates or students expected to graduate with a Bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year accredited university by February 2026
• Language Proficiency: TOEIC score of 700 or higher
• OPIC and TOEIC Speaking/Writing scores will be converted to TOEIC equivalents (OPIC: IM2 or above, TOEIC Speaking: Level 6 or above)
• Graduates or expected graduates from overseas universities are exempt from submitting a TOEIC score
• GPA: Minimum cumulative GPA of B (3.0/4.5 scale) or higher
• Must be available for full-time internship
• Preference will be given to veterans and individuals eligible for employment protection under applicable laws

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) -

• Understanding of automotive component design, manufacturing processes, and assembly sequences.
• Experience using 3D CAD tools such as NX or CATIA.
• Experience in CAE analysis (e.g., structural, durability, thermal, or vibration analysis)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle development processes and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ programming / Experience in project utilizing AI.
• Strong motivation to develop integrated skills in both design and analysis.
