Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities
Purpose of the Tax function
In Line With Finance Team, The Objective Of The Tax Function Is To Deliver The Highest Quality And Most Business Oriented Tax Services, On a Timely Manner And In a Proactive Way With The Main Missons
- Ensure, together with Accounting function, proper compliance with regard to direct and indirect taxes (including in certain countries, the filing of the tax returns and the related payments)
- Manage any Tax Audits, initiate and manage any Tax litigations and mutual agreement procedure
- Ask for any ruling that could benefit to any of the companies within the Group
- Set up and document a robust and consistent transfer pricing policy through all Sectors
- Ensure all internal flows could be implemented with the lowest associated tax costs
- Be a recognized business partner by supporting key business initiatives, optimizing business changes and managing tax risks with regards to Tenders process and Projects implementation
- Deliver sustainable financial results year on year, by appropriately managing the Group effective rate and cash tax out in close coordination with the Consolidation team
- Ensure the most efficient tax structure for the Group restructuring and M&A activities
- Develop and enhance the tax community within the Group, ensuring a high level of expertise and national /international mobility
The Head of Tax accounting and planning is specifically responsible for:
Delivering sustainable financial results year on year, by appropriately managing
Group effective rate; managing DTA, DTL positions for consolidated accounts, consistently with statutory positions
- Tax Cash out monitoring
- Tax planning on 5 years period, covering all geographies of the Group
OECD minimum taxation calculation, coordinating compliance
Maintaining or developping when necessary all tools and knowledge needed to determine the Tax burden for actuals closing and forecasts (tax package, IAS 12, IFRIC 23…)
- Ensuring , together with Accounting function, proper compliance with regard to direct taxes
- Providing any Tax reports (CBCR reports, presence in NCST…) and information requested by regulators in terms of transparency
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education
- University degree / Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, Business or Business Administration
- Preferably Master degree in taxation
Experience
- 12 years or more of experience with 5 years experience in similar position in international environment
- Possessing strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations
- Understanding financial landscape and market trends
- Fluent in English (and other languages is a plus)
- Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
- Expertise with accounting software packages
