Group/Division
SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Field Apps Engineer Supporting SPTS Deposition and Etch technical engagements with customers in the field. This role will primarily support STM based in Grenoble but will also potentially support other European customer sites.

Major Responsibilities include:

• Defining and executing customer specific product penetration, positioning, and market share strategies
• Developing relationships with key customer technical buying influences with a deep understanding of leading-edge semiconductor processes
• Driving collaboration projects, evaluations, H2H, ramp support etc. to deliver differentiated product value, ensure continued product learning and solve customer issues
• Having a strong understanding of the customer sales cycle and process. Jointly develop sales strategies in collaboration with account managers.
• Delivery of effective technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 5 years

• Strong technical background in on-wafer manufacturing process
• Strong business acumen with understanding of customer technical issues
• Self-starter with strong focus on execution
• The ability to own and take responsibility for multiple projects and to deal with all issues proactively and effciently
• Excellent English communication/presentation skill and proficient in project management
• MSc in Science/Engineering-based field
