Electrical Engineer – Industrial Electrical Projects

Turner Lovell is supporting a global technology provider in their search for an
Electrical Engineer
to contribute to the design and modernisation of industrial power systems. You'll play a key role in supporting innovative projects that drive electrification and energy efficiency across a range of international applications.

Our client designs and installs high-performance control, automation, and distribution systems in sectors such as marine, metals, and hydropower. You will be at the heart of their engineering team, collaborating closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored electrical solutions from concept to commissioning.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design or upgrade electrical systems (LV/MV) based on project requirements and standards.
• Act as the technical interface with the customer, ensuring alignment on deliverables and timelines.
• Create project documentation including equipment specifications, electrical drawings, and installation guidelines.
• Engage and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors (technical validation, documentation checks, factory acceptance testing).
• Ensure seamless communication across internal departments: engineering, design, procurement, production, and site commissioning.
• Monitor project performance: timelines, engineering hours, document delivery, and cost control.
• Support the installation and commissioning teams with hands-on technical input when required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in power generation, industrial automation, or rotating machinery.
• Solid knowledge of low and medium voltage systems and electrical design.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and willing to travel for international projects.
