As part of a strategic
data platform initiative
within a leading industrial group, we are looking for an
Azure Data Engineer
to help design and implement a scalable, governed, and analytics-ready data ecosystem based on the Azure stack.

Mission Objectives :

• Support the company in adopting a
  data-driven approach
  for both business and engineering decisions
• Build a
  unified data platform in Azure Databricks
  where data from multiple systems becomes consistent, traceable, and ready for analytics
• Automate the
  ingestion of structured data
  into the
  Bronze layer
  of the Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)
• Develop
  cleaned and harmonized Delta tables
  in the
  Silver layer
  , ensuring schema validation and data quality checks
• Deliver
  aggregated, analytics-ready datasets
  in the
  Gold layer
  , serving BI dashboards and advanced reporting
• Apply
  best practices
  such as partitioning, ACID transactions, Adaptive Query Execution, Z-ORDER optimization, and version control
• Ensure
  governance and traceability
  of pipelines, transformations, and data changes through Azure DevOps
• Collaborate closely with
  Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and BI Analysts
  to align architectural decisions, clarify requirements, and prioritize delivery
• Contribute to platform
  monitoring and alerting
  through Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

Key Skills :

• Proven experience with
  Azure Data Factory
  (orchestration and ingestion)
• Strong expertise in
  Azure Databricks
  ,
  Delta Lake
  , and performance optimization techniques
• Solid understanding of
  Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)
  and multi-layer architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Experience with
  Azure Synapse
  and
  Power BI
  for data serving and visualization
• Familiarity with
  Azure DevOps
  (CI/CD, version control)
• Knowledge of
  data governance, data quality, and schema management
• Proficiency in
  Python
  and
  SQL
  for data transformation and validation
• Understanding of
  data modeling principles
  and
  ETL/ELT best practices

Profile :

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, data engineering, or information systems
• Minimum
  5 years of experience
  in data engineering, ideally within Azure environments
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative, and international teams
• English fluency required
  –
  German is a strong asset
• Position based in
