Objectives
Your mission is to empower and elevate our community of over 50 data engineers and data scientists. Acting as the vital link between feature teams and platform engineers, you will champion the adoption and evolution of our data platform by delivering hands on technical support, sharing best practices, and driving knowledge sharing initiatives.

Through proactive engagement, direct support, and continuous feedback collection, you will foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-impact environment—ensuring our platform continually adapts and delivers maximum value to its users.

Key Tasks
Technical Support:

  • Assist data engineers and data scientists with technical challenges by

providing hands-on solutions, guidance, best practices and support

through direct interactions within their teams

  • Make sure technical debt is identified, understood and managed

through action plans and participate to their underlying tasks. Provide

tooling to help manage this debt (testing, automation, AI agents, …)

  • Collaborate with data platform and support teams to make sure issues

within both data pipelines and data platform are identified and resolved,

improving the overall developer experience.

  • Evangelism:
  • Promote the adoption of the data platform by a daily usage, delivering

its value to existing users

  • Share industry trends, tools, and technologies relevant to data platforms with the community of practice and internal teams.
  • Upskilling teams:
  • Assess current team level on Data Platform tools and practices and

improve it with training, exercises and solutioning real world problematics

  • Advertise and animate a community of practice to build improvement

training path, internal workshops and webinars to showcase our Data

Platform capabilities

  • Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, example projects, and documentation to help developers understand and utilize our platform effectively.
  • Feedback Loop:
  • Actively gather feedback from the developer community to provide

insights and suggestions for product enhancements to the platform

engineering

  • Provide relevant tests for technical assets produced by the data

platform engineers and make sure they match current usages within the

feature teams.

Qualifications / Required Skills
Proficient in Python development and crafting scalable, high-quality

applications.

Experience with data processing frameworks such as Pandas or Spark. Hands-on experience on developing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines.

Deep expertise in AWS, complemented by certifications or equivalent

experience.

Experiences in Infra-as-Code framework (ideally AWS CDK in Python).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment

processes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining

complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Passionate about engaging with developer communities and creating a positive

impact.

Good proficiency in English, as documentation will be written in English and

part of the Data Platform users do not speak French.
