Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Angers Area. The role involve :

  • coordinating variety testing and relation with breeders (introduction, IP protection, evaluation, reports)
  • starting and supervising new and ongoing variety development programs involving IP, plant material and licence management.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with the industry (visits, trade shows, congresses, etc.)

Daily tasks include managing project schedules, ensuring timelines are met, exchanges with partners from the industry including international relationships and travels abroad, in and outside of Europe.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Project Management to plan, organize, and lead complex variety development projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Background in agriculture, plant science, or a related field
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in French is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional international projects is a strong asset.
