Arabic-Speaking Business Development Manager

Operate Talent is recruiting a freelance Business Development Manager on behalf of an international IT services provider expanding across Lebanon and the MENA region. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong market knowledge of Lebanon, a passion for technology, and the ability to build trusted business relationships.
You will act as a strategic bridge between European-based teams and clients across Lebanon and the Middle East, driving growth through market development, partnerships, and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
- Identify and engage potential clients in Lebanon and across the MENA region.
- Leverage deep knowledge of the Lebanese business landscape to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings virtually and in person during travel to Lebanon.
Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor trends in the IT sector, particularly in Lebanon and the Middle East.
- Research competitors, local regulations, and market conditions.
- Identify business opportunities where IT solutions can deliver strong value.
Sales & Strategy
- Design and execute market entry and growth strategies for Lebanon and the region.
- Prepare proposals and presentations tailored to local business needs.
- Set and achieve targets for new contracts, partnerships, and client acquisition.
Travel & Collaboration
- Travel to Lebanon up to three times per year for client meetings and negotiations.
- Coordinate with local partners and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Freelance Management
- Independently manage workload, priorities, and deadlines.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with international stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery and consistent performance across projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the IT sector (software, cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation).
- Native or fluent Arabic (Lebanese dialect) and professional-level English.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- High cultural intelligence and understanding of Lebanese business practices.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, virtual meeting tools, and presentation software.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently in a freelance structure.
