Position Overview:

We are seeking a Supply Chain & Customs Manager to join our global Supply Chain team at Oterra France SAS. In this dual role, you will oversee the plant's supply chain operations to guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers while optimizing inventories and costs. Additionally, you will manage all customs activities for Oterra France, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating smooth import/export operations.

This is a leadership position that requires strong team building, cross-functional communication, and analytical skills. You will collaborate closely with production, customer service, and global planning teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities – A Role with Real Impact

As Supply Chain Manager:

Drive operational excellence: Oversee weekly production planning, ensure real-time tracking, and adapt resources to meet demand—on time, every time.

Optimize the supply chain: Shape MTO/MTS strategies, manage material flows, and lead logistics to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Lead and inspire: Manage a cross-functional team (planning, warehouse, logistics) and champion QHSE standards.

Fuel innovation: Play a pivotal role in S&OP meetings, analyze KPIs, and implement cutting-edge tools to streamline processes.

As Customs Manager :

Ensure seamless compliance: Act as the main liaison with customs authorities and freight forwarders to secure smooth import/export operations.

Stay ahead of regulations: Monitor legislative changes, manage customs agreements (e.g., Agreed Exporter, REX), and mitigate risks.

Empower the team: Deliver training and guidance on customs updates, excise duties, and VAT processes.

Your Success Metrics: OTIF delivery – Exceed customer expectations. Cost & inventory control – Balance efficiency with agility. Zero penalties – Uphold flawless customs compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Proven leadership to motivate teams under pressure.

Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
