As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will own and grow relationships with some of our most strategic clients in the life sciences sector. You'll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and shaping long-term partnerships that matter.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage 1 to 4 Top-10 client accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and business growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, building trust and delivering value.
  • Develop and execute annual account plans, including governance, risk management, and growth strategies.
  • Identify and capture cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Excelya's full service portfolio.
  • Lead business reviews with clients and maintain a 360° view of the account.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and master agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Business Managers, Marketing, Finance) to ensure seamless delivery.

About You

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B account management or business development. Experience in clinical research, CRO, or life sciences is a bonus.
  • Proven track record in managing large, complex accounts and achieving revenue growth.
  • Experience with strategic planning and governance for top-tier clients.

Skills

  • Relationship Builder: Ability to engage and influence C-Level stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skilled in developing and executing account plans that drive long-term value.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial drivers, pricing models, and contract negotiation.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in KPI tracking, forecasting, and performance optimization.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Adept at working cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with clinical development processes and CRO business models is a plus.

Education

  • Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Languages

  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
