Expressions of Interest – HOD Endocrinology/Diabetes Services
We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of HOD for the Department of Endocrinology/Diabetes, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
This position collaborates with organisational, service and business leaders, to drive the development and implementation of the Service Strategic Plan. The key aims are to ensure access to high quality specialist care, alongside supporting the Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty goals of reducing health disparities and improving outcomes for Māori.
This role provides direct leadership, coaching and support to colleagues within the service, and participates in recruitment, professional reviews, and practice development.
There is a pressing need to ensure that the development of Endocrinology services both align with organisational goals and values, and meets the needs of a diverse and rapidly growing population across the Bay of Plenty.

This is a three-year tenure. The successful applicant will have half a day per week, (0.1 FTE) of their current FTE allocated to the leadership responsibilities.
