Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Tax Director – France, you will notably:

  • M&A: conduct tax analysis and risk assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
  • Tax Audits: assist in the management and follow-up of tax audits across all tax types (corporate income tax, VAT, local taxes, transfer pricing, etc.), with the opportunity to lead audits over time.
  • Advisory: provide daily tax advice to internal stakeholders including accounting teams and CFOs on a wide range of French tax matters.
  • Tax Watch & Knowledge Management: monitor developments in French and international tax law (doctrine, case law, etc.); act as the knowledge center for the team, sharing updates and ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Compliance: Support quarterly closings and ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.


Education:
Master's degree in Tax Law; Accounting, Finance, Business School and / or a DSCG-type course is a plus. 

Skills & Specifications:

Good knowledge of French tax law

Accounting knowledge 

Excellent communication and adaptation to others 

Analytical skills

Ability to work under strict deadline



Work experience requirements:
1-3 years max of working experience in the area of French Tax Law, ideally within a multinational company or a Big 4 

Languages:  

Fluent in French 

Good command of English
