Where would you fit in the team?

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and expanding relationships with new enterprise-level clients in your territory. You will play a key role by developing strategic territory plans, creating and developing your pipeline and acquiring new logos.

What does the job entail?

  • Own the full sales cycle: from building and developing pipeline through strategic outreach to contract signature, managing multi-threaded, high-value opportunities with Director + level executives across Finance, Procurement, and Sourcing.
  • Drive pipeline growth through targeted prospecting, event engagement, and partner collaboration, consistently converting high-quality leads into long-term clients.
  • Learn SpendHQ's solutions and associated services at an intimate level to fully understand client's needs and our ability to solve them; Extensive training and support will be provided
  • Lead consultative discovery to deeply understand client priorities, define business value, co-create tailored solutions with our Solutions team and deliver compelling business cases.
  • Contribute to marketing activities in your territory to increase brand awareness and lead generation. Including, but not limited to active participation in webinars, sponsored events and conferences, clients, prospects and partners events .
  • In collaboration with the EMEA partner manager, identify potential partners and develop partnerships with key players in your region to co-sell and generate leads and deals
  • With the support of the GTM team and the Bid manager, take full ownership and accountability for the RFX processes in your region
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Team, Marketing, Delivery, Customer Success, Legal, and Product to orchestrate enterprise deals and ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Ensure all internal GTM tools and database are up to date with the latest information related to your sales pipeline & active opportunities
  • Deliver excellence in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity health. Use data to manage pacing, improve conversion, and consistently meet or exceed elevated quota targets.
  • Mentor and support other Account Executives, sharing your expertise and experience to raise team performance and contribute to a culture of learning and high achievement.

What skills and experience should you have?

  • A top-performing seller with a track record of 8+ years successfully selling complex enterprise SaaS solutions to stakeholders in Fortune 1000 organizations ideally with focus in procurement, in addition to an average deal size of $150K; Procurement experience is highly desired and recommended.
  • Proven experience executing a disciplined, process-driven approach to managing the full sales cycle from self-prospecting and lead generation to close.
  • International experience and exposure is a strong asset to succeed in this role as we are a global company, operating in a diverse multicultural environment addressing the European markets. Our global headquarter is in Altanta, GA and we have a strong AngloSaxon business culture.
  • Passionate for understanding technology and customer success stories with a deep understanding of what characterizes consultative selling. Somebody equally matched by a passion for understanding prospective customers' executive priorities, challenges, and goals.
  • Experienced at conducting Saas platforms demos as part of the sales process
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS startup or scale-up, where you successfully applied your autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset while demonstrating strong team collaboration skills
  • A dynamic thinker who maintains a hunger to learn and will take the extra steps to find the answers to their questions by themselves first. Able to showcase a learn-it-all mindset vs. a know-it-all mindset.
  • Experience with using will be required as part of the role to report all sales actively
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English required - must speak and write perfect French if based in France, including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives both in person and virtually.
  • A flexible and resilient individual who can turn unpredictability into opportunity as an adaptive problem-solver.

Where would you be located & what will be your reporting line?

This position is based in the UK remotely or in France – preferably in Lyon (Villeurbanne) or Paris

This position reports to the Managing director EMEA

This position requires approximately 30% of business travelling in France & Europe.
