Internship - Foundation (H/F/Nb)

Established in 2007, the ALSTOM FOUNDATION supports and funds projects proposed by Alstom employees who team up with local NGO parners and non-profit organizations to carry out initiatives aimed at improving living conditions in communities located near the Group's facailities and project sites around the world.

The Foundation's projects focus on four axes: Mobility, Environmental Protection, Energy & Water, and Socio-Economic Development. More than 360 projects have been supported by the Foundation in all the countries where Alstom has a presence.

The intern, directly reporting to the Secretary General plays a significant role in running the Alstom Foundation yearly cycle, starting with the call for projects and finishing with the selection of projects during the Foundation Board. He/She contributes to the good processing of the Foundation cycle and thereby to the image of the Foundation and external CSR positioning of Alstom.

The Foundation intern is in charge of supporting the Secretary General with the following responsibilities:

• Analyze and synthetize projects submitted (XL & PPT formats) in order to prepare the Pre-Selection Committee & the Foundation Board
• Participate in Communications when publishing Foundation News, Press Releases, etc
• Any ad-hoc topics related to the work with communities

Educational Background:
Master degree in Economics, Political sciences or other

Fluent in English

Competences & Skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and efficiently with multiple stakeholders in a global environment despite workload
• Ability to analyze data and prepare powerful synthesis
• Autonomy in work organization, structure, rigor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as the position will require to manage contacts with various functions and levels in the company and writing in English and French
• Excellent level in the use of Office tools
• Experience in philanthropic / volunteering / CSR activities appreciated

4 to 6 months internship

Based in our office in Paris ( St Ouen - Mairie )
