Who is the company and context?

Our client is a market leading Board consulting company renowned for its expertise in digital transformation and financial systems. The company supports several large household name companies and is growing larger every day.

In the context of expansive growth and an ever-increasing demand for solutions in Board, our client is expanding their team for a consultant who can work within their consolidation team. If you're experienced in board (or other EPM tools) or have a finance background but would like to move into a more product focused role this may be the perfect role for you

What will I be doing?

  • Working closely with finance teams to understand consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and planning needs, with a particular focus on group consolidation.
  • Gathering, documenting, and challenging business requirements across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Designing and building EPM data models, hierarchies, workflows, and dashboards to support end‑to‑end performance management.
  • Translating finance processes into clear, scalable system designs and configuring the Board platform to meet those requirements.
  • Acting as a bridge between finance users and technical teams, ensuring the system accurately reflects financial logic, accounting principles, and end‑to‑end workflow needs.
  • Designing and building EPM data models, hierarchies, dashboards, and workflows while supporting data integration, mapping, and validation activities.
  • Supporting testing, month‑end cycles, training, and go‑live activities to ensure smooth adoption and high system reliability.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to streamline, automate within the EPM world

What kind of skills and background will I need to have?

  • A Masters degree in either finance or financial systems
  • 3 years plus experience in a consulting role
  • Some experience in consolidation (or a solid understanding with a willingness to move into it)
  • Experience implementing Board (or alternative EPM tools: Anaplan, SAP BFC, HFM….) and a good understanding of financial systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills to allow easy liaising with finance teams
  • Fluency in French and strong level of English
