Senior Accountant

What does a Senior Accountant do within the thriving world of the renewables?
 

• You will report to your manager, who is based in Lyon/France. Working languages will be English and French. Together you will take care of all concerns of the finance department of the subsidiary in France.
• Responsible for monthly and yearly Financial reports according to French GAAP and coordination of the group reports according to IFRS. Coordinating auditors close yearly financial audit.
• Tax declarations with assistance of accounting firm (VAT CIT CVAE DAS2 CFE etc.). Based on business development ,identifying tax risk and provide advice.
• Complete compliance obligations related to finance and taxation, with assistance of accounting firm (end of year documents, TPD, Intrastat Report, etc.), Coordinating clients and government departments when necessary.
• Set up necessary procedures for Internal management and control, Which ensure  all systems that generate accounting / taxation related entries are in compliance with local French requirements. 
• Use Financial software (SAP) for a part of accounting operations.
• Assist in task related business analysis and budget management.

We suggest you to have sort of the following personal Background:
 

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a similar degree. Significant experience within a large group or an audit firm (statutory auditor) , 5-8 years of practical working experience in Accounting and Finance in France.
• Professional experience in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for France as well as Book keeping. Proficient in French GAAP and IFRS.
• Good knowledge in (France and EU) tax/TP regulations and Financial related compliance obligations during all year (Regulation/Deadline/Declaration method etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is plus.
• Knowledge in Internal Controlling, Budgeting, Pricing is a plus.
• Fluent French (C1/C2) and English (minimum B2) language skills are mandatory. Daily business language will be English and French. 
• Hope you used to sustained cadences and managing multiple deadlines in a complex context.
• Very good organizational and communication skills, especially in an international environment, rigorousness and strong logical ability.
