Within the Group, you will join the Communications, Brand & Sustainability department.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Chief of Staff, you provide strategic and operational support to the Group Chief Communications, Brand and Sustainability Officer, notably by ensuring effective coordination and communication in the leadership team and across the department, as well as execution of decisions.

You act as a key facilitator to address requests and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

You are in charge of:

  • Supporting the Group Chief Communications, Brand and Sustainability (CBS) Officer in the supervision and animation of the department (around 90 employees)
  • Providing support to the Group CBS Officer regarding her internal and external communication (draft interviews, speeches, LinkedIn Posts) and in the preparation of key meetings (meeting briefs, panel preparations), liaising with the experts inside and outside the department
  • Contributing to the monitoring of budget for the whole department and monitoring directly the budget owned by the CBS Officer
  • Preparing agendas for and animating monthly Leadership Team Meetings, internal meetings (for example, Quarterly Team Meetings with the whole department, or Team Seminars every 2 years) and local entities visits (3 to 4 a year)
  • Coordinating CBS contributions (presentations, briefings, notes) to Group Committees (MC, Board...), senior management and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring specific CBS teams initiatives and follow up on ongoing projects
  • Connecting with the Chief of Staff community for transversal perspectives
  • Ensuring a smooth functioning of the department in relation with the HRBP (recruitment, HR issues, Pulse, training needs, etc)
YOUR PROFILE

Technical knowledge and professional experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of communications, brand and sustainability key concepts and main indicators
  • Good business acumen: understanding of the strategic issues facing the Group, with a demonstrated ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyze business issues
  • Analytical and synthesizing skills, e.g. ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations in a concise, well-structured, logical and business-oriented manner
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to document and present information in a concise and business-oriented manner (e.g. for senior management)
  • Strong project management skills: ability to track and manage several projects simultaneously with various levels of complexity / interdependence; ability to identify actionable next steps and relevant points of contact across AXA
  • Fully fluent in English is a mandatory requirement, fully fluent in French
  • Good practice of MS Office suite

  • Capacity to develop strategic relationships with different stakeholders: capacity to develop lasting, trust relationships with different stakeholders at various seniority levels across the Group, in particular when there is no direct reporting line
  • Being influential to ensure effective execution of CBS decisions (even when there is no line of authority)
