Datacenter People are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Center Technician to join our clients maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Electrical and Mechanical critical Data Center equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Role & Responsibilities;

  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance according to established procedures and safety standards (SOP, MOP)
  • Escalation of all detected anomalies monitoring of the progress of corrective work if necessary and closure report
  • Assist in coordinating third-party contractors and vendors during maintenance or emergency interventions
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the data center
  • Support operation team on the monitoring and responding to building management systems (BMS) alarms and conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment performance via the organization tools: ,CMMS, DMS,ITSM,BMS etc
  • Support infrastructure change activities such as power or cooling upgrades, optimization of load consumption, or emergency drills
  • Rapid response, investigation, and management of emergency situations in accordance with the Incident Management process of the organisation
  • Responsible for compliance with all Client mission critical processes

Qualifications & Experience;

  • Industry recognized mechanical or electrical trade school qualifications (Bac +2, BTS, DUT,)
  • At least 4 years in a similar position (e.g. Mission critical, oil & gas, power plant, marine,)
  • Experience in electrical and HVAC systems
  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplined environment
  • Valid driving licence and own vehicle
  • Able to communicate in both French and English
