Join our dynamic team as a Risk Based Inspection Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of assets in the Oil and Gas industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-projects in Nanterre, France, contributing your expertise to enhance operational efficiency and risk management.
Role Overview
- Prepare Corrosion Loop Reports to assess and document corrosion risks.
- Collect information from various Project documents (Equipment List, Mechanical Data sheet, Line list, etc.) to prepare RBI system upload data files.
- Liaise with Process, HSE, and Operation & Maintenance teams to identify deterioration mechanisms and establish inspection policies, plans, and actions.
- Prepare studies in accordance with the selected RBI software.
- Develop comprehensive inspection plans to ensure asset integrity.
- Produce quality deliverables with accurate data and logical assumptions.
- Report weekly activities to the RBI Lead on the assigned Project.
Skills & Qualifications
- Inspection: Proficient in conducting inspections and assessments.
- Corrosion Knowledge: Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and materials.
- RBI Software Familiarity: Experience with RBI software, preferably Meridium.
- API Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with API 580/581 standards related to RBI methodology.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to work with EPC project documentation (PDS, MDS, GAD, P&IDs, Line Lists, Piping isometrics).
- Teamwork: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Education & Experience
- MSc Degree in Process Engineering, Materials/Metallurgy/Corrosion Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Based Inspection methodology.
