JOB SUMMARY

Join our Client Analytics team within the Markets division and contribute to the continuous development of our analytical offering as an integral part of Sales & Structuring in Europe. In this front-office role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring and Research teams to deliver impactful, bespoke cross-asset analysis to Corporate and Financial Institution clients across FX, Rates and Commodities.

You will support strategic client engagements by analysing balance sheets, ALM profiles and portfolio risks, helping clients optimise their risk management and financial performance. This internship offers strong exposure to financial markets, derivatives, and data-driven problem solving—ideal for candidates looking to build a career at the intersection of analytics, markets, and client advisory.

  • Support Sales, Structuring and Trading teams in delivering innovative, cross-product analytics to grow the Cross-Asset Macro business in Europe and globally.
  • Assess and quantify clients' currency, interest rate and commodity exposures, and assist in delivering tailored hedging strategies.
  • Conduct risk analysis including VaR, scenario analysis and portfolio optimisation based on client risk profiles.
  • Analyse corporate and FI balance sheets, cashflows and investment portfolios to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools for performance backtesting, multicurrency debt portfolio optimisation and data-driven client insights.
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of the Client Analytics brand, methodology and product offering.
  • Partner with Sales, Structuring, Traders and Research to ensure seamless delivery of insights and market solutions.
  • Support new business development across asset classes by identifying efficiency gains and scalable analytical approaches.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders through presentations and written analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced front-office environment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Finance Degree or similar with Financial mathematics courses

  • Proficient understanding of derivatives and basic understanding of FX, Rates and Commodity markets

  • Thorough understanding and expertise in data analysis using Excel as well as statistical analysis

  • A combination of technical (derivatives pricing, Quant Finance, programming, CFA, FRM) and business/finance qualifications

  • Python, R coding experience would be advantageous

  • Languages: French, any additional languages would be beneficial
