About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic renewable energy company. As Commission & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensure the in-time delivery of the project and conduct commission & Installation. You will play a crucial role in our project delivery and also help out and collaborate during O&M stage when needed.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Commissioning Planning & Execution
  2. Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for BESS projects.
  3. Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, engineering, and OEM vendors.
  4. Ensure commissioning milestones are delivered on schedule.
  5. System Testing & Verification
  6. Perform functional, performance, and reliability tests on BESS equipment (PCS, BMS, EMS)
  7. Validate integration of electrical, control, and communication systems.
  8. Conduct grid compliance and performance verification tests
  9. Technical Documentation & Reporting
  10. Prepare commissioning protocols, test reports, and punch lists.
  11. Document non-conformities and track corrective actions to closure.
  12. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
  13. Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning-related technical issues.
  14. Provide technical support to resolve integration challenges between subsystems.
  15. Escalate critical issues to engineering/OEM teams when necessary
  16. Coordination
  17. Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and client representatives.
  18. Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers during testing and troubleshooting
  19. Handover & Post-Commissioning Support
  20. Ensure system is ready for reliable commercial operation.
  21. Support performance validation during trial operation period.

Qualification and expertise:

  1. EHS knowledge and experience within electrical installation projects (RAMS / SHEQ /CDM).
  2. Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting / BESS OEM
  3. Desirable knowledge of electrical works such as renewables, Battery storage Electric Vehicle Charge Point, PV, Installations etc.
  4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
  5. Able to organize and priorities to meet deadlines.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  7. Excellent problem solving.
  8. French driving license.
  9. French Electrical certifications : B2-BC – H0

Language :

  1. Proficient in English and French.
