Job Description

You are joining our team within the Strategic Equity Capital Markets (SECM) department, which is looking for a SECM Solutions Officer, for an internship of 6 months from January 2026.

The Strategic Equity Capital Markets (SECM) business line, within the Investment Banking division, advises, structures and implements solutions for Corporate and Investor clients on all Equity products (primary market with IPOs and capital increases, secondary market, financing of equity acquisitions, monetization of equity investments, hedging strategies...). The SECM Solutions team focuses on topics related to the valuation of companies, on the equity stories of listed securities and overall on the fundamental aspects of listed companies.

In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:

Market Watch:

Detection of opportunities (excessive valuation discount, particular shareholder situation, potential M&A...). Monitoring of market news and issuer-specific news (market rumors, results publications, etc.). Creation of quantitative tools to facilitate the work of reflection around new ideas.

Customer prospecting (pitch):

Operational and financial analyses of potential targets, comparable companies ;

Supports used: sector references, broker notes;

Financial modeling and valuation.

Run:

Drafting of valuation notes on the primary part (Takeover public offer, Withdrawal offer...).

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Student at the Bac+4/5 level, you are preparing a university degree or business school, with a specialization in corporate finance.

You have a first experience in mergers and acquisitions, audit, equity research or, more generally, in corporate finance.

You possess solid knowledge in financial analysis and valuation methods, with a mastery of financial statements.

You master the Office pack, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The knowledge of Bloomberg, Eikon and Capital IQ would be an additional asset.

You demonstrate rigor, curiosity, dynamism, autonomy and initiative.

And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
