About the role

We are currently looking for an Construction HSE Advisor.

The Construction HSE Advisor is responsible for leading and supporting HSE activities for all EODC construction scope of work and for providing HSE support to O&M activities (Ouistreham base and OSS).

Key Responsibilities

  • HSE leadership for port, onshore and offshore activities (construction, OSS and O&M Base).
  • Development and implementation of project HSE processes and procedures (PdP, RAMS, specific procedures).
  • Supervision and coordination of the Permit to Work (PTW/Vissim) system, including back-up of the PTW coordinator.
  • Review of contractor procedures, method statements, risk assessments, HAZID and HSE documentation.
  • HSE support to construction, BOP, commissioning and O&M teams.
  • Performing HSE inspections on sites and vessels.
  • Participation in project HSE, SIMOPS and coordination meetings
  • Incident management including investigations, Intelex reporting and follow-up of actions.
  • Monitoring HSE performance and construction-related KPIs.
  • Management of HSE equipment and PPE at the O&M Base.
  • Delivery of HSE inductions, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
  • Leading emergency drills related to construction, O&M facilities and OSS.
  • Support to personnel transport boat supervision.

Profile Required

  • Proven HSE expertise in offshore construction and O&M activities.
  • Experience with Permit to Work systems, risk assessments and HSE procedures.
  • Ability to perform inspections on offshore/onshore sites and vessels.
  • Experience in incident investigation, KPI monitoring and HSE reporting tools.
  • Availability for a full-time, site-based role in Ouistreham with regular field presence.
