About this positionWe are expanding our team and looking for a Data Business Analyst to join an international automotive project in the UK market. If you enjoy working at the intersection of business and data, turning complex requirements into clear definitions, and bringing structure to data-driven solutions, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and data teams, aligning data requirements, metrics, and definitions.
- Translate business goals and decision-making needs into clear data requirements and documentation.
- Work with canonical data models and understand relationships between key entities to support data integration.
- Support data quality initiatives and clearly communicate data limitations to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, metadata, and data lineage.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements and clarify open questions.
- Own and maintain clear, well-structured documentation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Business Analysis
- Strong data literacy and understanding of data concepts
- Ability to query and validate data using SQL
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and entity relationships
- Knowledge of data quality principles
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, metadata, and data lineage
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with business stakeholders
- Analytical, problem-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to clarity and structure
- English proficiency at C1 (Advanced) level
