We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Intern who will play a role in helping us run and track the core business while supporting the digitalization and automation of our financial processes. This is a unique opportunity to learn how a fast-growing scale-up operates from the inside and to contribute directly to impactful, data-driven decision making.

What you'll be doing:

In the first phase of your internship, you'll dive into the core of our finance operations. You'll help tackle customer-related financial questions, recurring tasks, and day-to-day analyses that keep our business running smoothly. This hands-on exposure will give you a strong understanding of how our financial and operational processes work behind the scenes, and why they matter for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As you become more confident with our systems, workflows, and the specifics of our markets, you'll gradually move into more advanced analytical work. You'll contribute to improving our processes, automating manual steps, and enhancing the way we track and understand LIZY's performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cross-functional financial support: Assist different teams with financial questions, billing checks, contract updates, and customer-related cases—ensuring accurate, timely support that strengthens LIZY's customer experience.
• Business performance tracking: Support the finance team in monitoring LIZY's core business KPIs and spotting trends that matter.
• Dashboard building: Help create, maintain, and improve dashboards that provide real-time visibility on financial and operational performance.
• Process digitalization & automation: Contribute to streamlining our workflows by leveraging automation and AI tools to make finance processes faster and smarter.
• Market-wide process alignment: Assist in harmonizing processes across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands so all markets operate with the same high standards and efficiency.

Your profile:

• An ongoing degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good knowledge of Excel (and optionally, Google Sheets or financial modeling basics)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and team spirit
• Comfortable working with confidential information
• Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
