About The Role
Allego is seeking a Software Engineer to help with developing an in-house platform that gathers real-time production data from renewable energy plants, makes accurate forecasts for energy output, and trades surplus energy on the European market.
As a software engineer you will:
- work closely with the operations team to co-define needs and shape requirements together;
- keep our platform secure and up-to-date with the latest best practices;
- design the technical architecture for new solutions;
- develop these solutions.
This role requires you to be able to visit our office in Paris one day a week.

- You have several years experience in Python, but being highly skilled in C++ or Rust could also work;
- You're have more than 5 years of experience as a software engineer;
- You are familiar with MySQL;
- You have experience with the Linux environment;
- You are able to visit our office in Paris once a week;
- You take ownership of your work, you do not only design and create, you also test;
- You are fluent in English and French.
