Your teamThis role is part of our France Commercial team - they are responsible for client acquisition and education across our Investment and CFD product suite, serving as the first point of contact for prospects and driving conversion to live trading accounts.
Your role in the Team's SuccessYour primary responsibility will be to generate new client acquisition through outbound engagement with qualified leads. By educating prospects on IG's product offerings - particularly our CFD products which require client familiarization - you will drive conversion rates and fuel our revenue pipeline. With ambitious FY26 targets approved by management, your role is critical to achieving volume goals while maintaining quality client education. You will work closely with PCMs, PAE, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and support the team's cross-sell strategy from Investment to CFD products.
What you'll do- Make outbound calls to qualified leads to understand their trading needs, experience level, and investment objectives
- Educate prospects on both Investment accounts (acquisition tool) and CFD products (revenue generator), providing comprehensive product training
- Use consultative selling techniques to identify client objections, troubleshoot concerns, and provide solutions that facilitate conversion to live accounts
- Coordinate with Account Opening, Compliance, and PAE teams to ensure pending applications are processed efficiently and converted to First Trades
- Consistently meet daily activity targets (dials, talk time) and conversion KPIs, particularly app-to-first-trade conversion rates
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking to support team visibility and performance monitoring
Key Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months telephone sales experience in a goal-oriented environment with proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
- Fluent in French and English (written and verbal) - additional languages an asset
- Active interest in and working knowledge of financial markets
- Strong communication and educational skills with ability to explain complex financial products clearly
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment with high attention to detail and compliance requirements
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently while contributing to team success
