We are fully compliant with all immigration laws, therefore we welcome all nationalities to apply that have an EU passport, a right to work in France in the form of a CDS, or are from a country where you can obtain a visa. We are one of the few companies that assist UK applicants to complete their visa paperwork, meaning all UK passport holders are welcome to apply, however the recruitment process has extra steps to obtain your visa and work permits. The majority of our guests are from the UK, therefore it is compulsory that all applicants are fluent in English to be considered for a position.

PositionOur Hotel and Chalet Guest Relations team are the first point of contact for our customers when they arrive on their holiday, so first impressions are key This starts with a phone call to guests before they arrive and then meeting them at the airport to ensure a smooth transition to the resort, providing them with a wealth of information and knowledge on the way. In resort you will be available to answer any questions they may have and take the stress out of their holiday by providing information and organising any extra activities that our guests would like to book.
Overseen by a guest services manager and working as part of a hotel or resort team, you will work closely with the wider hospitality team to ensure your guests are having the best experience possible. You will support all roles within the hotel/ chalets, and always look to improve our commitment and service to each guest. You will make daily visits to your properties, resolving customer issues as and when they arise and organise a program of activities suitable to your guests throughout the week. The right candidate will enjoy excelling in customer service, be passionate about delivering outstanding service with a 'can do' attitude and genuine excitement to be in the mountains.
RequirementsCustomer Focus
- Bring constant enthusiasm and positivity to the role.
- Be the central point of contact & knowledge in resort.
- Pre-arrival guest calls to organise and book lift passes and activities.
- Transfers to/from airport.
- Represent the company in a professional, well-presented manner always in compliance with the company uniform policy.
- Complaint handling & problem solving.
- Running AD-Hoc events for our guests to enjoy
- Supporting the front of house and reception.
Operational
- Organising the purchase and distribution of lift passes and activities.
- Providing a welcome speech so the customers are informed of all resort information and products that Alpine Elements have on offer.
- Conduct morning and evening property visits as well as ad hoc visits where required.
- Developing and distributing resort information, ensuring chalet and hotel notice boards are up to date and hold appropriate and relevant information.
- Taking card payments and making accurate records.
- Running a quiz night for our hotel guests.

Requirements for the role
- Confident driver - Hold a full, clean driving licence for a minimum of 2 years and be 21 years of age or older (Essential)
- Confident speaking in front of crowds (Essential)
- Highly computer literate (Essential)
- Knowledge of the relevant area (Desired)
- Relevant transferable work experience (Desired)
- Experience completing administrative duties and maintaining accurate records (Desired)
- Experience problem solving customer issues (Desired)
Salary and Package benefits
- 35 working hours a week, which include split shifts with great work life balance.
- Full training and development available with great career progression opportunities.
- Salary is competitive, uniform is provided, and staff meals are included within the working shifts.
- Accommodation and assistance to obtain a visa (UK only) can be provided as optional extras if needed.
Operational dates may vary by resort and property; however, they generally fall between early June and mid-September.
