Control & Safety Systems Engineer H/F

As an
agap2 consultant
, you will join our clients — leaders in the
Oil & Gas and Energy engineering
sectors — to take part in the
design, specification, and validation of Control and Safety Systems (ICSS / DCS / SIS)
within large-scale
FEED and EPC
projects.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Draft and update
    DCS / SIS technical specifications
  • Define and maintain
    ICSS (Control & Safety Systems) architectures
  • Participate in
    basic and detailed design studies
    (onshore and offshore)
  • Manage
    internal and external interfaces
    (engineering disciplines, suppliers, subcontractors)
  • Prepare
    functional specifications
    : functional analysis, control narratives, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams
  • Supervise and validate
    installation and commissioning activities
    (cabinet quantities, loop diagrams, FAT tests, etc.)
  • Collaborate with vendors during
    technical alignment and factory acceptance test (FAT)
    phases
  • Ensure compliance with
    project Quality and HSE procedures

You are the ideal candidate if...

  • You hold a
    Master's degree (Bac+5)
    in
    Automation, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
  • You have
    over 5 years of experience
    in
    Control & Safety Systems engineering (DCS / SIS)
    , ideally on
    Oil & Gas, Energy, or Nuclear
    projects
  • You have solid knowledge of
    ISA 5.x standards
    and
    IEC 61511 / IEC 62443
    regulations
  • You are familiar with
    ICSS, F&G, and network architectures
    (offshore/onshore)
  • You are proficient with
    MS Office and Visio
  • You are
    fluent in English
  • You are recognized for your
    rigor, analytical mindset
    , and
    team spirit
