We are looking for a
Control & Safety System Engineer
to handle several projects of our client.
Scope of Services
The
Engineer shall be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Preparation and/or update of
technical specifications
(DCS / SIS) - Preparation and/or update of
control system architectures
(ICSS) - Participation in
ICSS basic and/or detailed engineering studies - Management of
internal and/or external interfaces - Participation in activities related to the
validation of installation aspects
of control, safety, fire & gas systems (cabinet quantities, typical loops, etc.) - Preparation of
functional specifications
, including functional analysis, control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and logic diagrams - Follow-up of
functional safety studies
REQUIRED SKILLS
The studies under the responsibility of the Control & Safety system Engineer require the following competencies:
- Knowledge of
Control & Safety Systems specific to the Oil & Gas industry - Knowledge of
ICSS know-how
for
Offshore/Onshore installations and Networks - Knowledge of
processes and/or Fire & Gas rules
encountered in Oil & Gas projects - Ability to work in
interface environments
, both internal (engineering disciplines) and/or external (partners, subcontractors, vendors, etc.) - Knowledge of
ICSS installation and validation aspects - Knowledge of applicable
ISA standards (ISA 5.1 / 5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 / 5.5 / 5.6) - Knowledge of applicable
IEC standards (IEC 61511 / IEC 62443)
and, if applicable,
IEC 61511 certification (TÜV – Quali-SIL) - Proficiency in
MS Office software (Word / Excel / Visio) - Reporting to the Lead Engineer
- Fluent English proficiency
