Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to join our customer's team at the Rouen terminal. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with operational oversight of stock and delivery tracking. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English, possess strong knowledge of French GAAP (
Plan Comptable Général
), and bring a proactive mindset to support both financial accuracy and logistical efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with French GAAP (PCG)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Support tax filings and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Monitor and reconcile cement stock levels, including inbound and outbound movements
• Track deliveries and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt
• Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to resolve discrepancies
• Generate operational reports for inventory and delivery performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in industrial or logistics sectors
• Strong understanding of
  Plan Comptable Général
  and French tax regulations
• Experience with inventory and delivery tracking systems (SAP or similar)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, or equivalent)
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory
• Turkish language skills are a plus
