In France, Nokia has a strong technological base that relies on both cutting-edge Research and Development teams and very strong links with the French digital ecosystem. Our activities are spread over two major sites in Lannion (Côtes d'Armor) and Paris-Saclay (Massy and Nozay, Essonne). 

Responsibilities

You will have the chance to work on the following potential topics not only for you but also for the whole:

  • LLM Agents orchestration
  • Multimodal Language Models and Image Understanding
  • Knowledge Graph to help Retrieval-Augmented Generation (e.g. graphRAG)
  • LLM-based solution evaluation

The topic will be chosen based on candidates' preferences and skills. We have world class researchers that will be instructing each of the topics.

Qualifications
  • M.Sc in one of the relevant field (e.g., machine learning mathematics, telecommunications, computer science, data science, programming) with software design skills.
  • Ability to write clean, high-quality, maintainable (Python) code in research team environments
  • Experience with using Large Language models on NLP or multimodal tasks
  • Ability to develop machine learning methods and applications
  • English language skills - English is preferable language of your thesis and the everyday working language in our organisation
  • M.Sc.  students in the relevant field (e.g., machine learning mathematics, telecommunications, computer science, data science, programming) with software design skills. For M.Sc. students, status in studies to allow writing an M.Sc. thesis on the work topic.
