Position Overview
As Beach Waiter, you are a key ambassador of the Lucia Restaurant lifestyle, delivering fun, elegant, and effortless service exclusively within the beach area. You create memorable guest experiences on sunbeds and cabanas by combining attentive service, product knowledge, and personality, ensuring every guest enjoys the signature Lucia atmosphere from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome beach guests warmly and professionally, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them efficiently to sunbeds and cabanas
- Deliver a personalized beach experience by anticipating guest needs and preferences
- Know the menu by heart and make confident food, cocktail, and beverage recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of assigned beach sections
- Set up, reset, and maintain sunbeds, cabanas, umbrellas, and side tables to brand standards
- Collaborate closely with Beach Commis, bartenders, kitchen, and hostess teams
- Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Follow opening, daily, and closing procedures for beach service
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service SOPs
- Support VIP service, special events, and high-volume beach periods
What We're Looking For
1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a resaurant, resort, or high-end hospitality environment
Strong guest service and communication skills with a friendly, confident approach
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Attention to detail in service execution, presentation, and brand standards
