We're hiring a Senior Solution Consultant with an Enterprise Strategy and Planning focus to join our Advisory Services Delivery team as an individual contributor - this is not a managerial role. Atlassian Senior Solution Consultants are experts in Atlassian products, operating model practices, and solutions, delivering guidance to drive value realisation for clients who have purchased Advisory Services from Atlassian. Each member of the team is accomplished in delivering strategic goals, providing consulting and technical guidance at scale, aligning the System of Work capabilities with business needs and desired outcomes.

You will help our strongest promoters showcase their successes to their peers and serve as the tip of the spear in expanding the reach of our technologies to new use cases and markets. Our goal is to help customers unlock the full potential of their teams and maximise the value of their Atlassian investment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with your peers in Advisory Services to align on strategic outcomes that deliver exceptional service to our customers

  • Partner with customers to help solve their business challenges and achieve their internal goals through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions

  • Drive deep engagement with our largest enterprise customers through internal advocacy and thought leadership

  • Guide customers with Atlassian's Rovo platform, and ways in which automation, no-code Agents and Forge applications are implemented and deployed to achieve business value

  • Create technical solution content and prescriptive guidance to support customer goals and outcomes in one or more Atlassian solution areas

  • Run discovery workshops on topics such as Build the Right Thing, the System of Work that support enterprise-grade SDLC, Strategic alignment or Portfolio Management.

  • Partner with non-customer-facing teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions that address their business drivers

  • Spend up to 30% of your time travelling domestically, and in some cases internationally, for both internal and customer-facing events

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience within SaaS companies

  • Relevant experience in customer-facing roles where you've engaged with and influenced customer stakeholders that range from technical administrators to executive leadership

  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-scale operating models, including

    • Experience in discovering enterprise, program, and team-level ways of working practices, providing guidance on the organisational, operational, and delivery dysfunction

    • Expertise in mapping customer operational practices to product capabilities and designing solutions that reinforce their desired scaled agile methodology or enterprise strategy & planning goals

    • Hands-on delivery of successful enterprise strategy & planning tool implementation, deployment, integration, enablement, and adoption outcomes into customer environments

    • Direct experience working with software development, Agile, or enterprise strategy & planning tools (for example, Align, Focus, Jira Plans, Rally, Rational Team Concert[RTC], ADO, VersionOne, etc.)

  • Demonstrated expertise in Analytics, including

    • Subject matter expertise in implementing and optimising Analytics practices at scale using best-in-breed analytics platforms and data integration tools

    • Extensive experience and strategic insight in data analytics capabilities, including data connection, integration, visualisation, and privacy management

  • Demonstrated expertise in Teamwork Foundations, including

    • Subject matter expertise in implementing and optimising how teams collaborate across enterprise organisations using foundational tools in Atlassian's Teamwork Collection – Jira, Confluence, Loom, and Rovo

  • You're fluent in English and have a proficiency in French as a second language for business communication.

  • Comfortable coaching best practices and tailoring curated guidance for stakeholders to facilitate those practices

  • Experienced working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams

  • Experienced working with large customers in a consulting or technical expert capacity
