We are seeking a
KYC / Operations Assistant
to support both our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Operations functions. This dual-role position provides essential support to traders, brokers, clients, and internal teams by ensuring smooth onboarding processes and the accurate reception, transmission, and registration of orders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities
RTO Responsibilities (Reception & Transmission of Orders)

  • Receive, review, and transmit client orders in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with traders to facilitate, and complete cleared transactions.
  • Coordinate with Griffin brokers to ensure the correct arrangement and handling of cleared deals.
  • Register cleared trades with exchanges accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transmitted orders and ensure proper audit trails.

Onboarding / KYC Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain client data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients and conduct periodic reviews of existing clients.
  • Analyse alerts generated by the client screening tool (sanctions, PEP, adverse media) and escalate where appropriate.
  • Assist in updating and improving onboarding and review procedures.
  • Contribute to system development projects in collaboration with IT, Operations, and Compliance teams.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring related to AML/KYC requirements in the EU, UK, and USA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in trade support, middle office, KYC/AML, or client onboarding within a financial or brokerage environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with traders, brokers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French or Italian is a plus.
