Purpose of the Role
We're looking for a Junior Kubernetes Platform Engineer with a passion for QA automation to join our team. This dual-role position will split time between managing our Kubernetes infrastructure using OpenTofu and ArgoCD, and maintaining automated QA testing pipelines in GitLab CI with Cypress. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in both platform engineering and quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities
· Assist in managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters using OpenTofu (Terraform);
· Support deployment automation using ArgoCD;
· Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting;
· Help implement and maintain GitOps workflows;
· Document infrastructure configurations and processes;
· Maintain and enhance existing GitLab CI/CD pipelines;
· Write and maintain Cypress end-to-end tests;
· Execute and analyze automated test results;
· Report and track software defects;
· Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage;
Qualifications and Experience
· Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
· Kubernetes concepts and architecture;
· Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles;
· CI/CD pipelines Containerization (Docker);
· Cypress or similar testing frameworks
· Linux/Unix systems
· Eager to learn and grow in both platform engineering and QA automation;
· Strong problem-solving skills;
· Attention to detail;
· Good communication skills;
· Ability to work both independently and in a team;
· Fluency in English;
