Paris, Île-de-France Reliable Medicare France Temps plein

Location: Paris, France

Type: Full-Time

Experience: 3–6+ years

Salary: €55,000 – €75,000 (DOE)

(Highly experienced candidates with strong OEM / laboratory networks may be considered above this range)

About the Company

We are a Paris-based skincare company building our own science-led skincare brand, focused on product performance, formulation integrity, and regulatory excellence.

Our ambition is to develop products responsibly — with strong manufacturing partners, compliant processes, and a long-term brand vision across France, Europe, and international markets.

We are now strengthening our internal product and sourcing capability and are hiring a key role to support this next phase of growth.

The Role

We are hiring a Product Sourcing & Development Manager to take full ownership of the skincare product lifecycle, from identifying and managing OEM / ODM manufacturers to overseeing product development, compliance, production, and continuous improvement.

This role is central to the business.

You will act as the main decision owner for manufacturing and product execution.

This is not a coordination-only role — you will be expected to lead, assess, negotiate, and deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard OEM / ODM skincare manufacturers and cosmetic laboratories

(France, EU, and selected international partners)

  • Assess suppliers based on GMP standards, formulation capability, regulatory compliance, scalability, and quality control
  • Lead RFQs, supplier audits, and capability assessments
  • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, MOQs, lead times, exclusivity, and scalability
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and NDAs
  • Translate product concepts into clear and executable manufacturing briefs
  • Oversee formulation alignment, sampling, stability testing, and pre-production approval
  • Coordinate packaging sourcing when required
  • Ensure full compliance with EU Cosmetic Regulation (CPNP) and French regulatory requirements
  • Maintain technical files, safety assessments, and compliant labelling
  • Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery timelines
  • Identify risks, optimisation opportunities, and process improvements

Profile We Are Looking For

This role is suitable for someone who:

  • Has 3–6+ years of experience in skincare or cosmetic product sourcing and development
  • Has direct, hands-on experience working with OEM / ODM manufacturers or cosmetic laboratories
  • Understands cosmetic manufacturing processes and EU regulatory requirements
  • Is comfortable taking ownership of decisions, timelines, and outcomes
  • Thinks commercially while maintaining high product and quality standards
  • Is structured, proactive, and execution-focused
  • Speak English and French is a plus.

Strongly Preferred

  • Existing network of cosmetic labs or OEM / ODM manufacturers
  • Hands-on experience working closely with formulations or R&D teams
  • Experience sourcing or coordinating packaging alongside product manufacturing
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up skincare or beauty brand
  • Participation in cosmetics or skincare industry trade shows

(e.g. formulation fairs, supplier exhibitions, manufacturing expos)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: €55,000 – €75,000 (DOE)
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • A key role with real ownership and visibility
  • Long-term career development within an international group
  • A professional and focused working environment in Paris
