Job Summary:
As Product Owner – IT Security, you will be responsible for defining and driving- together with the Head of SecOps and IT Director-, the vision, strategy, and roadmap of cybersecurity-related products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity experts, IT architects, the Cloud Center of Excellence, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for IT security initiatives (e.g., IAM, SIEM, endpoint protection, cloud security), ensuring it aligns with business segment goals set by the Business Owners and stakeholder expectations.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders, compliance teams, and external regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related decisions and represent the product in governance and steering committees
- Collaborate within the cybersecurity team in close collaboration with the IT management team to coordinate initiatives, assess risks, and define mitigation strategies.
- Manage the product backlog, write user stories, and ensure alignment with business and security objectives.
- Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NIS2, NCCS).
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other Product Owners to gather input, identify priorities, and prepare for quarterly planning sessions
- Monitor product operations, performance, and security KPIs, continuously improve based on feedback and threat intelligence.
Key Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in IT or cybersecurity domains, leading large initiatives
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks.
- Significant experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, DevSecOps).
- Very good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business value.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Product Owner , SAFe).
- Strong knowledge of Cloud environments and challenges (GCP and Azure in particular)
Soft Skills:
- Leadership and ability to provide clear direction, inspire, and support cross-functional teams.
- Natural talent to facilitate problem resolution and find effective solutions, particularly in cloud environments.
- Ability to contribute to architectures, technologies, and standards to evolving company and project needs
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in IT, engineering or equivalent degree
- A certification in Agile would be appreciated
- 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner role or similar with at least 5 years in IT Security domain, dealing with cross-functional teams or international environments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Fluent English (written and verbal) is required (working language)
- French, German and/or Dutch is a plus
LOCATION
No specific restriction amongst other EPEX office locations and an attractive hybrid work policy.
