Overview
Skyld is a deeptech company that edits cybersecurity solutions for AI systems. We want to address trust, privacy and intellectual property challenges raised by the massive use of AI algorithms. We are accelerated by UC. Berkeley and Station F and backed by top European investors.
We are looking for an engineer in software security. You will work on attacks dedicated to machine learning algorithms, eg. reverse engineering of AI models, as well as on the defensive side and software security. Your role is to deliver the guarantee of Skyld protection.
Contract type
Permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Research on reverse engineering of models (android, embedded)
- Work closely with our AI engineers to deliver our software protection (software obfuscation)
- Popularize your results through blog posts, social medias
- Provide support to customers by addressing technical issues, answering questions, and ensuring smooth usage of our solutions.
- Communicate with both clients and technical team to understand the needs and constraints.
Qualifications
- Familiar with C/C++
- Familiar with Python
- Familiar with Git
- Familiar with Docker
- Knowledge in Cryptography
- Understanding of Obfuscation
- Reverse engineering basics (static and dynamic tools)
- Basic understanding of Assembly (x86 64 & arm64)
- Web development basics (HTML, JS, CSS)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills: methodical, autonomous
- Fluency in French and English
- Bonus: Know Python compilation (Cython, Python C API, pybind...)
- Bonus: software security knowledge (Runtime Application Self Protection)

The position is based in Rennes, France.
