This position is based in Rennes, France.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our dynamic team working on structured documents analysis (Identity cards). Your mission will be to enhance and maintain this vital service, improving its efficiency and accuracy.

As a Senior C++ Developer specializing in structured document processing, you will be responsible for:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain C++14/17/20 applications, libraries, and services for processing structured documents efficiently and accurately.
• Optimization & Architecture: Identify and implement performance improvements in existing document processing code, optimizing speed and accuracy. Refactor and evolve the internal service architecture to address emerging technical challenges and scalability requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers, to deliver document processing solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in document processing, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the service.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in C++14/17/20 software development.
• Experience with multi-threading, performance optimization, and memory management.
• Proficiency in software design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with version control systems and continuous integration (e.g., Gitlab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization.
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with image processing libraries
• Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance (GDPR)

A plus but not mandatory

• Knowledge of Agile/ Scrum framework.
• Knowledge of QT/QML
• Knowledge of Meson builder
• Experience with Python development is a significant plus.
• Experience with working with OCR solution
