As a Project Officer Intern, you will support the Program Director in the day-to-day management of Space Situational Awareness (SSA) projects and contracts. You will contribute to the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of program activities involving technical, operational, and institutional stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting project planning, scheduling, and follow-up of activities across multiple work packages

Developing, maintaining, and improving project management tools (planning dashboards, action trackers, risk registers, milestones tracking)

Contributing to program reporting activities, including periodic progress reports, KPIs, and management presentations

Collecting, structuring, and consolidating inputs from technical teams, commercial teams and external partners

Monitoring deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies, and supporting corrective actions when required

Participating in continuous improvement of reporting processes and project governance practices

This internship provides exposure to real operational SSA programs and offers a strong understanding of how complex space projects are managed in an international environment.

Required or expected skills:

Background in engineering, space studies, project management, systems engineering, or a related field

Strong interest in the space sector, particularly Space Situational Awareness and space safety

Good understanding of project management principles (planning, risks, milestones, deliverables)

Ability to work with reporting and project management tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, Jira, MS Project, or similar)

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail

Ability to structure complex information clearly and concisely

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French

Additional assets:

Knowledge of Institutional projects environments (e.g. European Defense Fund , ESA)

Previous experience in project coordination or reporting activities
