As a Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) - Plastics you will report to Category Sourcing Director in the Sourcing department based in Obernai (France), Blieskastel (Germany), Kórnik, Tychy or Bierun (Poland) for a permanent contract.

As Category Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) for Plastics, you will shape global sourcing strategies, lead international teams, and build strong partnerships that make a measurable impact on our business worldwide.
Your role
Own and drive the global sourcing strategy for the plastics category (plastics, chemicals, PVC), aligned with our business and sustainability ambitionsLead, coach, and develop an international sourcing organization, empowering teams to perform and growBuild and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, acting as a trusted interface and negotiation lead.Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D to unlock value and competitive advantage.Drive cost, performance, and risk management initiatives across the global supply baseAnticipate market developments and translate insights into resilient, future-oriented sourcing decisionsWhat you bring
A degree in business administration or a comparable qualificationSolid experience in category sourcing or strategic procurement within an international environmentA strong leadership mindset and experience in leading teams within complex, global organizationsStrategic thinking, negotiation strength, and the ability to influence at all levelsExcellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an advantageA structured, analytical, and solution-driven approachWillingness to travel within EuropeWhat we offer?
