The ESC is currently looking for an Event officer for a undetermined contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France.

Major duties and responsibilities: Ensure the delivery to the highest standard of ESC Events Managament events taking place: online and/or in-person, inhouse at the European Heart House or externally.

· Facilitate the coordination between the ESC Events team and our Internal Bu's and our volunteers

· Take on and project manage an event from A-Z (Project management, Timeline management, Registration, Industry/Grants support, Communications, Website creating and follow ups, Supplier manangement, Survey Management, Contract and cancellation conditions, Purchase Orders's, Working budgets, ongoing reporting, etc)

· Facilitate great relationships with the Internal departments and ESC External suppliers (includes PCO Management) in order for the ESC to deliver a consistent and homogeneous experience

Profile:

Hard skills :

· Bachelor or Master degree in tourism, event management

· Minimum 2-3 years in event management

· Excellent English

· Office skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office Word & Excel)

· Proven organisation skills and capability of multi-tasking and prioritising workload

Soft skills:

· Able to work well with a wide range of people from different parts of the organisation at different levels of responsibility

· Good interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively

· Flexibility, adaptability and open-mindedness to welcome new projects

· Available to travel (sometimes weekends and end of August)

Conditions:

  • Non-Executive status,

  • 37h30/week + RTT days

  • Fixed salary + 13th month and vacation bonus (1%)
