Who we are

Capitaegis Management is a boutique consultancy based in Nice. We help manage several businesses across European countries, handling everything from financial oversight to operations. We're building a lean and efficient back office — and we need the right person to help keep things running smoothly.

The Role

We're looking for a freelance bookkeeper who's organised, motivated, and used to working independently. Your main mission? Help us stay on top of the day-to-day financial admin across different companies. You'll make sure transactions, payments, and contracts are tracked properly, and everything is cleanly logged in Exact Online.

This isn't a full accounting role — think of it more as keeping the books in order, helping us stay compliant, and making sure no detail slips through the cracks.

What you'll do

• Keep our financial data updated in Exact Online
• Track payments, invoices, expenses, and contracts
• Organise and archive documents (digitally)
• Help with bank reconciliations
• Liaise with our external accountants
• Occasionally assist with admin and ops tasks

What we're looking for

• Experience in bookkeeping or financial admin
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Great with tools (especially Exact Online or similar)
• Super organised, detail-oriented, and autonomous
• Registered as a freelancer
• Understanding of European VAT and intercompany flows
