About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Front of the House Department in Paris, the Assistant Chief Concierge will help the Chief Concierge to supervise the concierge team who provide 5-star services to all guests and colleagues. The Assistant Chief Concierge will lead the team in turning moments into memories for our guests. The Assistant Chief Concierge will have the best knowledge of Paris.

As Assistant Chief Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise the Concierge, Porter, and Valet teams, ensuring effective recruitment, training, scheduling, and daily follow-up.
• Oversee guests throughout their stay, proactively addressing requests and handling complaints with professionalism and discretion.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with external service providers and partners.
• Actively contribute to guest satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance department and ensure proper follow-up of finance-related matters with the teams.
• Ensure the highest level of service quality and full compliance with MOHG standards, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, consistently representing and promoting the values and image of Mandarin Oriental.

As Assistant Chief Concierge, we expect from you:

• Previous experience in a similar role within an establishment of the same category
• Courtesy, professionalism, attention to detail, and discretion
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive and dynamic attitude
• Strong curiosity, with in-depth knowledge of Paris and its cultural scene
• Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards
• Flexibility and availability to meet operational needs
• Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
