Internship – Europe Key Account Assistant – July 2026

Europe Department oversees a perimeter that currently covers 50+ markets.
As part of the team, you will work closely with the Key Account Manager, collaborating with two major European retailers — one a pure digital player and the other an omnichannel retailer. This dual exposure offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full 360° commercial spectrum, from online strategy to in-store activation.
To support your work and provide valuable local insights, you will also engage directly with Guerlain's local General Managers and Commercial teams. Together, you will help foster strong partnerships, negotiate profitable trade agreements, and enhance brand visibility and performance across the region.
Job responsibilitiesMain responsibilities :
- Be the key point of contact for (e-)retailer's commercial teams, Guerlain Europe Teams & local markets .
Understand local specificities and embark/engage markets in retailer's strategy while helping them transition to a more centralized way of driving business.
Support negotiation preparation and ensure commercial terms definition and proactive follow-up
Coordinate trade and e-trade plans for the accounts, distribution strategy, assortment & stock efficiency and promotion, partnering closely with the digital & marketing teams to ensure consistency in Guerlain Europe strategy.Analyze performance of activities and implement action plan accordingly
Recommend trade plan alignment to make both retailers & brand strategies compatible
Prepare weekly, monthly and year-to-date retailers' sales reports. Analyze performances vs target and recommend optimizations. Monitor stock levels to ensure healthy stock holding and implement action plan if needed.
Share results, best practices and get qualitative insights from markets for more synergy and business acceleration
Deliver exceptional client service
Through sharp written and verbal communication, day-to-day agility and efficiency in addressing requests; building trust relationships both with markets & retailersEnsure smooth communication with all stakeholders
Ease global launch plan alignment. Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Merch and Finance teams, both with Europe Team but also at HQ and market level.
- Business school or equivalent (bac +4/5)
- Sensitivity to beauty and luxury industries. Previous experience as Key Account Assistant, or Category Manager assistant would be appreciated
- Know-how : Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, organized & result oriented. Solid computer skills (Word, Excel et PowerPoint). Fluency in French and English is mandatory
- Soft skills : Agility, entrepreneurship spirit, high capacity to adapt to a multitask, dynamic and international environment, autonomy, leadership. Enthusiastic team player.
Internship (stage conventionné) starting from July 2026, for 6 months.

GUERLAIN MAISONIt all began with Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain. A perfumer, chemist, inventor and researcher, the House's founder settled up his first boutique in the heart of Paris, at 42, rue de Rivoli. The address quickly became an essential destination for dandies and elegant women. The House's reputation at the courts of Europe peaked when in 1853, for the marriage of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, Pierre-François-Pascal created his Eau de Cologne Impériale, which he gave to the young bride as a wedding present.
Since then, five successive generations of Guerlain perfumers have held the House's creative reins. Today, Thierry Wasser is the heir to an olfactory legacy of some 1100 fragrances and the intrepid leader of future projects, exploring the world in search of the most exclusive raw materials.
