Function

HM.CLAUSE is recruiting a Data Engineer (M/F) on a internship contract within the Finance department, based at Portes-lès-Valence site.

Within the Consolidation and Continuous Improvement Department of our Finance Department, you will join a dynamic, supportive, and empathetic team. You will contribute to data production and reporting by implementing digital solutions for the HM.CLAUSE Business Unit and participate in high-value, impactful projects.

Main Goal

You will be entrusted with the following missions:

  • Contribute to the data structuring improvement project in an international context: Develop digital data extraction solutions for the finance department.
  • Support the implementation of performance indicators: Design dashboards, define KPIs, and produce performance reports.
  • Participate in the deployment of digital decision-making solutions: Implement data visualization tools to support strategic analysis.
  • Collect, extract, process, and model data: Retrieve relevant and high-quality data from management applications and transform them into actionable performance indicators.
  • Conduct rigorous data analysis: Ensure data reliability and quality to deliver trustworthy insights and enable effective decision-making.
  • Perform user testing for Finance: Validate solutions through functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure operational maintenance of developed solutions: Monitor, support, and optimize tools in production.

What we expect of you

  • You're looking for an Graduation internship in Data engineering.
  • You have strong IT skills, especially with SQL, Python, R and the Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • You have initial experience in Business Intelligence for developing reports/dashboards.
  • You have a good level of English (reading, speaking, writing) to communicate with your team members.
  • You are passionate about data and want to grow within a human-sized team.
  • You are eager to get involved in innovative data projects within a finance department, enjoy teamwork but can work independently, are curious and proactive, and able to seek and find solutions.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, international, and constantly evolving environment and want to gain finance knowledge.
