About The Role
We are currently looking for a quality and patient safety focused person to join our Mental Health and Addictions team Hauora a Toi, Bay of Plenty.

In this full-time role you will work in collaboration with the Mental Health and Addictions Leadership team to develop, co-ordinate and implement a quality and risk management system designed to maximise the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of the Mental Health and Addictions Services in line with Pae Ora/Healthy Futures and the New Zealand Health Charter. This is a varied and busy role where you will have ample opportunities to grow and learn.

Key Responsibilities For This Position Are

  • Supporting the teams within Mental Health and Addiction Services to respond to the variety of challenges and opportunities provided by feedback from tāngata whai ora and whānau, regulatory bodies and other government organisations.
  • Support reporting related specifically to mental health and addictions work e.g. seclusion, restraint and mental health act
  • Lead and collaborate with the leadership team in risk and incident management.
  • Support and lead compliance activities related to service delivery e.g. certification, ombudsman visits etc.
