The Operations Management and Information Systems Academic Department (MOSI) at KEDGE Business School brings together professors from disciplines including procurement management, supply chain management, quality management, and information systems management. These professors combine theoretical and practical teaching with the aim of providing students with specific knowledge, as well as giving them global and cross-disciplinary insight into supply chain management.

The MOSI Department invites applications for 2 opened positions at Assistant or Associate Professor in Purchasing, 1 in Paris and 1 in Bordeaux.

Responsibilities :

• Teaching and educational development (undergraduate, graduate and post graduate level)
• Student supervision and coaching
• The positions are primarily a teaching role. Publication in academic and professional journals, research projects with companies or international institutions, and participation in national and international calls for projects are appreciated

Profile and skills required :

• PhD or equivalent in Management Science or Industrial Economics
•  PhD realized in Procurement Department or minimum 5-years Procurement professional experience
• Teaching experience and publications related to operational / strategic Purchasing and BtoB management, including managerial dimension, behavior of buyers / sellers, data management, and/or sustainable purchasing (optional : public buying, supply chain resilience and purchasing ethics)
• Operational knowledge of purchasing is appreciated
• Ability to teach courses in fluent English and French

• for doctoral students in their last year of PhD, a letter from the thesis director indicating the state of progress of the PhD and the estimated date of defense

Compensations and benefits:

Permanent contract/ Full time

Status: Executive

Salary: to be negotiated /over 13 months / Bonuses (research, executive education, extra hours, etc.)

Paid leaves 35 days per year + 15 exemption days per year
