Reporting to the CIO Value Tower Corporate Domain, the Global IS Domain Manager - Decisional Domain partners with Value Tower Sponsor & CIO to define and prioritize technology investments in their domain of expertise, in line with business requirements and strategy. He/ she challenges the delivery team on their technical choices and integration strategies and ensures successful delivery of solutions in terms of quality, cost, performance, value generation and security.
Main accountabilities include:
PROJECT DEFINITION & SIZING
Together with Business Sponsor and CIO of the Value Tower, defines the business needs and relevant solutions according to business requirements & strategy.
Prepares scoping and relevant documentations and budget/ROI estimates for gate validations.
Actively contributes and promotes project during gate reviews.
Helps Business teams write functional specifications and define resources and time needed for implementation.
Participates to supplier selection and negotiation when necessary.
PROJECT DELIVERY
Pilots and contributes to the delivery of projects within defined milestones and according to defined cost, quality and value generation criteria.
Challenges the delivery partner on the technical and integration choices.
Coordinates the project teams assigned (both internal and external) and supervises progress at each step of the project. Defines and follows up the production of functional tests and necessary adjustments.
Coaches, trains & develops the IS teams of the Value Tower.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Defines and monitors indicators related to the success and quality of projects deliveries.
Keeps project stakeholders informed of project status, alerts on potential risks and coordinates back-up plans or adjustments if needed.
Manages his/her suppliers operationally under negotiated framework agreements
Is accountable for continuous improvement plan
Required profile and experience:
- Master degree in IS, Business School or Engineering School with IT specialization or equivalent combination of education, experience & skills
- Strong experience in IS project management (min 10 years) for Corporate Domain (Finance, Purchasing, Sales and/or General Secretariat) in international environment & matrix organization.
- Supplier management/ basics of finance & negotiation.
- Good communication and leadership skills, proactive, collaborative, organization & analytical mindset.
- Able to work with multicultural teams. Proficient in English (TOEIC 800), another language is a plus.
